Ready to take your first class?

This is my first barre/boot camp/yoga class ever! what should I expect?

  • A musically driven, comprehensive, carefully pre-planned workout! We move quickly in barre and boot camp and your first class can be a whirlwind, but give it a few classes and you’ll be a pro in no time.
  • Lots of personal attention! We work hard to remember everyone’s names, limitations, and preferences, so don’t be surprised if we call you by name and offer adjustments to personalize your class. If you prefer to ride solo through class, just let your teacher know and we’ll respect your space.
  • A friendly, supportive class of flexfam. Don’t worry about your neighbor, they are busy pushing past their own limits.  Have fun! Listen to the music! This is your chance to focus on you and only you for an entire hour. You may surprise yourself.

What should I wear and bring?

 You’ll find all necessary props at the studio, but we do recommend bringing a water bottle so you can stay properly hydrated. There is a bottle filling station at the studio if you run out.

  • Wear comfortable workout attire for all classes.
  • Sticky socks are required for barre (you’ll thank us when you don’t slip)- you can purchase them at the studio if needed.
  • You can choose to wear sticky socks or CLEAN gym shoes for Flexed+.
  • Clean Gym shoes are required for TRX classes.
  • Yoga mat (For yoga classes)- there are mats for rent if you don’t have one.

Before & After Class

Before Class:

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first class and let us know if you have any limitations or injuries that you’re working through. *For your safety, no first-time clients will be admitted after class starts, so please be on time so we can get to know you. Our barre-tender will introduce you to your teacher and show you around. We always start class on time so you can get back to your day.
  • The studio is open 20 minutes before class and closes 20 minutes after class. Feel free to come early or stay late to browse our awesome retail section.
  • Leave cell phones and belongings safe in your locker. If you would like a lock, you can grab one at the desk. If you’re expecting a call,  leave it with our friendly front desk staff and they’ll come get you if it rings.

After Class:

  • Check in with your instructor for any questions or clarifications. We are always happy to stay and chat.
  • Feeling motivated? Maybe you’re ready for a back to back session! Check in with the desk and stay for a discounted yoga or barre class to stretch after boot camp or maybe add bootcamp after circuited to get your cardio in! Mix and match to your heart’s content, we’re here for you.
  • Check yourself out in the mirror because you’ll be feeling and looking your best. Clients typically see results in four weeks if they come three times a week.
