A special self-care yoga workshop series with Lisa Garrido of Ignite Your Heart Yoga School.


Each mini-retreat will include Lisa’s signature reiki-infused yoga in an energetic journey through the chakras to destress the heart, unwind the body, and soften the soul. It will include guided meditation and essential oils to invite in a profound sense of relaxation and promote healing and conscious connection. Stay after each workshop for a Q&A about her Ignite Your Heart 200hr Teacher Training.

Reset your Foundation for Healing: April 23, 2-4PM

  • 90 minute Hatha Flow + Restorative Yoga through the Root, Sacral, and Belly Chakras
Weekend 2
Surrender into Presence with Breathwork and Meditation: May 7, 2-4PM
  • Learn the Power of Breathwork and Meditation into Stillness
  • 90 minute Hatha Flow + Pranayama + Dhyana through the Heart and Throat Chakras
Weekend 3
Blissful Release with Yogic Sleep: May 21, 2-4PM
  • Learn the Power of Pratyahara and the Return to Oneness
  • 90 minute Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra through the Brow and Crown Chakras

With Lisa’s guidance, you’ll explore the magic of yoga beyond the poses. Through these 3 Saturdays, you will release tension though the deeper energetic layers of the subtle body. This Ignite Your Heart mini retreat series creates the perfect gentle, reflective space to observe the body as it begins to surrender this tension, even during more challenging poses. You will feel safely encouraged and supported to move at your own pace and to explore the depths of your practice from a place of compassion and truth. Restorative poses are seamlessly provided throughout the retreat as needed, and are a wonderful support for stress release and pain management.

Expect to dive into the deeper aspects of creating calmness and relaxation to renew and restore your body. As you increase awareness and the natural rhythms of your body, you will begin to trust your intuition as a powerful tool in surrendering control so you can trust the truest essence that is you out into the world.

We will share a group energetic healing guided through visualization by Lisa. It is normal to feel a full palette of emotion in your practice and this mini retreat will help you to breathe and explore patience to accept and move through it. It is also normal to not feel anything at all, or anywhere in between. Trust that your body and breath are incredibly intelligent, and the healing offered throughout this mini retreat will intuitively know where to go.

The intention is LOVE, and your practice of life and the yoga, present itself perfectly for you, on your behalf, based on your own unique time and space within your journey. You are beautiful. And it’s time to own it.

Bring your yoga mat. Bolsters, blankets, blocks, etc are provided.

These workshops are donation-based. Suggested minimum donation is $35-50, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. All proceeds will be donated to Take Back the Night Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organizaiton and the earliest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence.
