Join us in support of Bay Area Animal Rescue Center and Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that takes in homeless pets. This year after lockdowns ended we have been seeing a sharp rise in the number of pets being given away to shelters, and these animals need our help now. You can read more about BAARCS and their work here. They are not an adoption agency, so you won’t be seeing any cute puppies available in the studio. They work with older pets, pets with behavioral or physical problems, and unadoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized, to make sure they are comfortable for the rest of their natural lives.

Expect 60 minutes of classical mat Pilates, modifiable for all levels, taught by Flex studio owner Helen. Her style a technical guide through Pilates postures, focusing on control, stability and breathwork. If you’ve never taken mat Pilates before, expect a low-impact and accessible workout focused on all parts of the core. If you’ve taken barre, think floor work but the beat is your breath!

Class is donation-based. Suggested minimum donation is $15, though no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. 100% of your donation goes to BAARCS.

To reserve your spot in class, please click the button below. You will be redirected to our client booking system. (Automatic donation is $15. If you would like to donate a different amount, please select the option to pay in studio when making your reservation.) Each participant will also receive a goody bag with delicious and cute animal-themed people treats!
