With the County order announced today to shelter-in-place, it is with a heavy heart we announce the studio will be closed through April 7th. We hope you all find some time each day to breathe deeply, roll your neck and shoulders, maybe do a few squats or living room pushups. Although we are sad we won’t get to see your beautiful faces in the studio, we look forward to being one of your best resources for wellness – just from a little farther away. We are hard at work coming up with options to keep us all connected, and we’ll continue to update you regularly as we solidify the details. Read on for all the latest details.
Hi FlexFam, we recently sent out an email update regarding coronavirus, COVID-19. If you haven’t seen it, please click here – and take note of related updates in our March newsletter. Please take all recommended precautions like hand washing, staying home when you feel sick, and covering sneezes and coughs to ensure the safety of our community. We have some fun events coming up, but are looking a little further ahead on the calendar for hosting these. For now, we are moving to a modified class schedule to limit the number of total people at the studio in both rooms, and we are also tightening up how many we can push in to a class. We’re accustomed to being nice and letting maybe one or two extra people from the waitlist into classes, but for the foreseeable future we will be a little bit more strict about limiting attendance capacity to better follow the guideline of increasing the amount of personal space between individuals. Join us Sunday morning, February 9th, for a charity event that benefits the American Heart Association. We are hosting a bake sale with treats (healthy and not-so-healthy, baked lovingly by our staff and instructors) in the lobby. We’ll also have Angie Scott, the CPR educator that just recertified your Flex staff in CPR/First Aid/AED training, out with a table in front showing people how to do chest compressions on a CPR mannequin for free. It takes just a few minutes to learn and can be the critical difference between life and death in an emergency situation. Finally, the barre class at 10AM is donation based and all levels; $20 donation gets you class, $30 gets you class and a Flex with Heart shirt.

Our favorite week of the whole year – member appreciation! New to Flex? This is where we spend the whole week reminding you that you’re the very best FlexFam a studio could wish for. Hopefully, you feel loved and appreciated all the time, but it’s never a bad idea to spend the whole week reminding you. Come in to Flex each day this week for some special surprises, extra goodies, and attend classes to rack up entries for an end of week raffle! For each class attended, you get a raffle ticket! Super simple, super fun – all that’s needed is for you to join us in class this week!
It’s been a couple of months now and about time we shout from the rooftops just how thrilled we are to be running Flex! To make it completely official, we are hosting a Grand Reopening weekend on October 19th & 20th.
