Flex with Heart 2/9

Join us Sunday morning, February 9th, for a charity event that benefits the American Heart Association. We are hosting a bake sale with treats (healthy and not-so-healthy, baked lovingly by our staff and instructors) in the lobby. We’ll also have Angie Scott, the CPR educator that just recertified your Flex staff in CPR/First Aid/AED training, out with a table in front showing people how to do chest compressions on a CPR mannequin for free. It takes just a few minutes to learn and can be the critical difference between life and death in an emergency situation. Finally, the barre class at 10AM is donation based and all levels; $20 donation gets you class, $30 gets you class and a Flex with Heart shirt.

TRfleX and Flow Combo Class 2/5

Join Lisa and Erika for a 90-minute offering that combines the luscious stretching and spaciousness of yoga with the challenging bodyweight exercises of TRX. Lisa will lead the class through a yoga beginning and ending, while Erika will pick it up with TRX in the middle for a truly amazing combo class that will leave your body feeling strong, stretched, and amazing! Welcome to 2020! January Newsletter

Hi FlexFam, Happy New Year!! With a new year comes new intentions, new beginnings, and an influx of new faces to Flex. Please keep in mind that everyone starts somewhere, and if you’re a newbie in class (especially if you don’t have a regular fitness routine) the experience can be VERY intimidating, so please keep being the awesomely warm and inviting community we are known for. If you see someone new, take a moment to introduce yourself. A short minute of your time might mean the world to someone else, and you may end up with a new friend. As we start off the new year, it’s a good reminder that we all share so much more in common than any differences between us.

Hi FlexFam, we hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday weekend! Neither of us are big on the commercial holidays, but we are both very much into the true meaning of the holiday season. Getting to spend time with friends, family, and focusing on what we have to be grateful for is what makes the holiday season special, and we are definitely beyond grateful that you choose to spend time with us and make this community as special as it is. As we move into December, we have a few things planned in the studio as well as modified holiday hours around Christmas and New Year’s Day, so please read on to find out all the deets!

Flexfam Paint Night

Join us as our talented member Apeksha leads us through painting our very own masterpieces to keep or give as a holiday gift to someone special! Setup and all materials included to paint one canvas.  Light refreshments provided.  Friends and family can sign up too, so bring a friend for a fun evening out! Event runs about two hours, but please plan to stay about 10-15 minutes after to help with cleanup.  Above photo is the painting we will be painting! Please sign up here.

The Gift of Self Care

Member Appreciation Week is Here!

Our favorite week of the whole year – member appreciation! New to Flex? This is where we spend the whole week reminding you that you’re the very best FlexFam a studio could wish for. Hopefully, you feel loved and appreciated all the time, but it’s never a bad idea to spend the whole week reminding you. Come in to Flex each day this week for some special surprises, extra goodies, and attend classes to rack up entries for an end of week raffle! For each class attended, you get a raffle ticket! Super simple, super fun – all that’s needed is for you to join us in class this week!

Hi Everyone!! We hope you had a great time with us cheering on your fellow FlexFam in their incredible performance of Thriller!! We find it challenging to limit the theatrics to only once a year! Oh, and speaking of challenges, the FlexGiving Challenge is in full swing & congrats to those already making their sticker-mark on the board – a couple of you are already nearing completion! If you’ve not yet registered, you can still get in on this! It’s just 28 classes in the 4 categories before Nov 25th – and we’ll credit you any classes taken from Oct 14th & onwards! See your helpful front desk barretender for your $5 buy-in; a portion of proceeds will be donated to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Unleash Your Inner Beyoncé – Heels Choreo Workshop 11/15

Join Juan Friday, November 15th at 7:15 for a 90-minute class in heels! Come strut your stuff and swing your hips as you learn to dance in heels like you never thought possible.  One part grace, two parts sass, and a pair of sturdy heels are the ingredients to a super fun evening.  Please wear comfortable fitness attire and bring a pair of non-marking high heels; we recommend choosing a sturdy heel and leaving those 6″stilettos at home.  Please, no black soles.
